The story of the village Lidice

Through digitized materials of the historical collection the pupils obtain a clear and understandable insight into the life of the Lidice-village and its destiny. 

What is the significance of the period materials for the interpretation of the history and what is possible to "read" from the collection materials?

Program´s target
Based on digitized materials from the historical collection, pupils will learn to use period materials for an interpretation of a historical period. The follow-up group activities then allow the students to discover the additional information and put historical events into the context.

Further Information
The programme can be completed by a group of up to 50 pupils. 

The program lasts 2 hours, starting in the Lidice Gallery in the new village Lidice. The program includes a separate tour of the museum's exhibition. You can order a guided tour of the reverent area with a lector, which is charged 800 CZK per group.

The ordered program you can cancel by phone no later than one day before.

The price of the program is 150 CZK per pupil. The price includes the entry to all other exhibition´s spaces of the Lidice Memorial, which are not parts of the program. A group over 20 persons has a 10% discount.
